XC_2000 Configuration |

A complete set of modules are available in the family of XC_2000.With reference to the following diagram, these modules are classified into 5 categories, including:
1) Power Module:
Each XC_2000 requires at least one 24Vdc power supply.
The Power module convert 90~264Vac line voltage to the unit's 24Vdc/5Vdc operating voltage.
The power module can be used in parallel to provide multi-power sources in redundancy.
2) CPU Module:
The CPU module with embedded PC functions is to realize the idea of PC based control and, in stead of magnetic disc,
has flash ROM to save large data in XC_2000.
3) Basic IO Module:
For interfacing a process, you need the Basic IO Module.
Each modules, a digital I/O, analog I/O unit is easily to be plugged by wire terminals.
Each modules has a pluggable wire terminal, LED indication lamps ,a wiring Diagram and identification tag.
4) Intelligent Interface Controller module:
PORIS provides the Intelligent IO Module which has a main aim in improving the functions of interface modules.
It has 128 byte dual port RAM.
The information of card type can be read into XC_2000 and identified to carry out the plug and play function.
Each Intelligent IO Module has its own CPU and Flash ROM. Intelligent operations are quick to be installed in fields.
5) Base of Module:
All the modules can be easily installed, through a specially designed architecture, onto a mini sliding DIN rail.
All of these modules are assembled in the lower Basic Unit(1 or 4) and the upper Main Body Unit.
Every basic unit is made up of a simple mini-backplane for the purpose of the connection of System Bus. |

The XIO I/F Module is a intelligent interface controller
of communication processor.
It is a cost optimized module to connect XC_2000 and
rack based Expansion_IO.
It relieves the CPU load of communications tasks.
XIO_IF/m as a master of Expansion_IO communication,
directly link the slave of Expansion_IO .
It connect with main CPU through 2K Dual Port RAM for
easy interface and performing XIO_IF/s as a slave of
Expansion_IO communication, control up to 2
(depend on configuration) XC_2000 basic IO modules
and link to XIO_IF/m for expansion communication. |
RIO-Remote_IO Networks |

The RIO I/F Module is a intelligent interface controller
of communication processor.
It is a cost optimized module to connect XC_2000 and
rack based Remote_IO.
It relieves the CPU load of communications tasks.
RIO_IF/m as a master of Remote_IO communication,
directly link the slave of Remote_IO .
It connect with main CPU through 2K Dual Port RAM for
easy interface and performing RIO_IF/s as a slave of
Remote_IO communication, control up to 2,4,8
(depend on configuration) XC_2000 basic IO modules
and link to RIO_IF/m for remote communication. |
eIO-easy_IO Networks |

The eIO_IF/m Module is an intelligent interface controller
of communication processor.
It is a cost optimized module to connect XC_2000 and
easy_IO.
It relieves the CPU load of communications tasks .
eIO_IF/m as a master of easy_IO communication, directly
link to each individual easy_IO module through two
communication links .
It connect with main CPU through 2KB dual port RAM for
easy interfacing and performing.
eIO_IF/m has two communication links , that each
communication link can connect up to 16 easy_IO modules,
and it could totally control up to 16 easy_IO modules per
eIO_IF/m too. |
eLON-LonWorks DDC Networks |

The LonWorks I/F module is a intelligent interface confroller
of communication processor.
It is a cost optimized module for connecting LonWorks based
devices such as eLON_DDC or other LonWorks nodes to
the XC_2000.
It relieves the CPU load of communications tasks and also
supports a range of other communications links.
LON_IF/m as a master of LonWorks based communication,
can access LonWorks based devices such as eLON_DDC or
other LonWorks and directly connect to CPU through 2K dual
port RAM for performing.
XC_2000 makes communication possible between LonWorks
network and devices using the Modbus protocol.

The Programmable Communication Controller module
(PCC-01) is an intelligent interface controller of
communication processor.
It is a cost optimized module to connect XC_2000 to
many third-party's digital devices which with
communication port and specific protocol.
It relieves the CPU load of communications tasks.
PCC-01 module as a master of remote digital device's
communication, directly link the communication port
of remote devices .
It connect with main CPU through 2KB dual port RAM
for easy interface and performing.
PCC-01 module could control up to 32 remote digital
devices (depend on user's configuration). |
